INTERNSHIP COURSE INFORMATION
The main purpose of internship course for business department is to enhance theoretical information students acquired during semesters as well as developing their skills regarding practical side. Internship is a practice that prepares students for public and private business environment.
Students can complete their internships following their sophomore year. Students who wish to benefit from internship as credits need to complete 30 working days, without break, in the summer before they are registered to the course.
Internship course is not compulsory for business department; only registered as compulsory once it is selected by the student.

Internship duration for business department is subject to Yasar University Internship Directive.
Students carrying on their education needs to complete their internships in summer or semester-break. Duration of the internship is 30 (thirty) working days.
Business Dept. students can be employed as an intern in; human resource, finance, marketing, advertising and public relations, purchasing, foreign trade departments of many private and public sector organizations as well banks and private financial institution. Internship document is evaluated by the Business Department Internship Coordinator or faculty member who is assigned with the task. Coordinator may interview the student regarding his/her internship period as well as ask re-submission of the document, if deems necessary.
Evaluation of Internship Report is subject to Yasar University Internship Directive.
Maximum points that can be graded to a student during evaluation is 100 and results are conveyed to Directorate of Student Affairs through faculty. Students who acquire at least 60 are deemed successful. Evaluation results are processed to student transcripts by Directorate of Student Affairs as “Satisfactory” (S) or “Unsatisfactory” (U). Internship report placed as the last page on the Internship Document needs to be written in English with handwriting. All information needed in the Internship Document must be fulfilled in absolute fashion.
Each page of Internship Document must be signed and stamped. Keep in mind that documents that lack signatures and stamps will be null.
