PLAN
The Curriculum of the Department of Business Administration consists of the categories: Program Compulsory Courses, University Compulsory Courses, YÖK Compulsory Courses and Field Elective Courses. These categories were determined in the “Yaşar University Associate and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations”. The compulsory and elective courses that students must take each semester in order to graduate, their credits and course contents have been prepared within the framework of Bologna and published on the department website. Course contents prepared in accordance with the curriculum are updated every semester. The needs of the sector were taken into consideration in curriculum planning. In this regard, the senior year curriculum of the department includes a two-term applied project course. The Department of Business Administration Curriculum has been entered into Yaşar University Management System (YUMS) in line with the calendar determined by the Central Academic Planning (MAP) Coordination Office.
EXECUTE
According to the registration dates, which are determined in the academic calendar, students make their course selections from the course programs on the Student Information System (OBS). The courses chosen by the students are checked by their academic advisors. Following this process, course registration is completed.
CHECK
Within the framework of the Course Registration Calendar determined by the Student Affairs Office (OIM), course selections are made by students during the registration week and add-drop week and are checked by advisors. The student numbers and class capacities, which were finalized during the registration week but changed again during the add-drop week, were checked by the department chair. At the end of the entire registration process, the number of students registered for the course is checked and the number of students is determined to be sufficient. In addition, necessary checks have been made to ensure that elective courses with department codes (BUSN) meet the needs of the entire department.
PRECAUTION
Academic advisors should take precautions to prevent students from having problems while fulfilling graduation requirements and advised students to first take the courses they failed in and then choose new courses depending on their remaining credit amounts. Measures have been taken to ensure that the number of elective courses that students must complete for graduation is consistent with the number of elective courses offered. Precautions have been taken to ensure that students can take all compulsory courses, paying special attention to ensure that compulsory courses from different semesters do not overlap. At department meetings, information is provided on issues such as success stories, problems and suggestions regarding the registration period, and precautions are taken for future periods.
